Apprenticeship Readiness and Retention Center (ARRC)

ARRC is a support service program that may provide finance assistance for eligible individuals enrolled in ANEW’s pre-apprenticeship program or registered as a Washington State apprentice in a construction trade.

ARRC Navigators may provide employment navigation, barrier removal and financial support for those who are eligible.

Funding may cover apprentice application fees, initiation and union fees, work wear, tuition and fees, books, limited gas or public transit, or apprenticeship-required tools.

Assistance is dependent on applicant’s current household income.

  • Must be a Washington Resident
  • Must be a Washington State Registered Apprentice in Active Status
  • Must meet financial eligibility requirements
  • Must reside in King, Pierce or Snohomish County

ARRC can support with expenses such as the following:

• Initiation Fees & Union Dues • Tuition and Books
• Transportation • Occupation-Specific Tools
• GED Support • Driver’s License Support
• Work Clothes and Boots

Rosie's Closet

Rosie’s Closet is a convenient place for anyone interested in donating work clothing to those who are new to the work place, starting over, or simply in need.

Donations are made up of lightly used or new construction related clothing only. That includes jeans, coveralls, long shirts, t-shirts, vests, jackets, hats, boots, rain gear, gloves, tool belts, hard hats, etc. Rosie’s Closet is located at the ANEW Training Facility in Tukwila.
