Financial Aid through ANEW

ANEW is the Financial Aid Office for the WA Grant for Apprenticeship (WG-A). This grant is open to all registered apprenticeships in the state of Washington who are approved by the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council (WSATC).

Financial Aid may be available to assist active apprentices in WSAC-approved apprenticeship programs with costs associated with their apprenticeship. Funding can cover tuition, fees, and materials.

Are you an apprentice?

The Washington Grant for Apprentices (WG-A) is a grant that is designed for the apprenticeship community to assist apprentices with obstacles they may face on their path to Journey Level Certification.

Are you a Registered Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeship program providers can partner with ANEW to offer their apprentices financial aid similar to what college students can receive. Apprenticeship program providers, or “sponsors,” must apply to participate.
